The line above is Tuesday's from “Monday's Child” as it is usually printed today, as given in Iona and Peter Opie, The Oxford Dictionary of Nursery Rhymes (1951).
The rhyme was first printed by A. E. Bray in A Description of the Part of Devonshire Bordering on the Tamar and the Tavy (1836), and is older than that in speech. Her line for Tuesday reads: “Tuesday's child is full of grace,”

Where the name comes from
In Old English it was tiwesdæg, from Tiwes, the genitive of Tiw: Tiw's day. Tiw was the original supreme god of ancient Germanic mythology, and it is as the god of war that he gives the day its name. The English name translates the Latin dies Martis, the day of Mars, the Roman god who was identified with Tiw, and the Latin itself survives in French mardi and Italian martedì.
